Our Pastor
Chris has been a pastor, worship leader, professional artist, and musician for over 35 years. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Memphis and an M.Div. from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He’s served at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis and recently sang with the Frontline worship team at First Baptist Church of Dallas. Currently, Chris is the Executive Director of Grace Place Hawaii, a children’s performing arts center in Kailua, a grant writer for Hope Partners Hawaii, and pastor of Grace Church Kailua.
Chris is married to Cathy and together, they love visiting their six children spread across Hawaii, California, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida.

We believe that our purpose is to love and worship God, love and witness to others and make disciples who make more disciples, as the Bible commands in Matthew 28:18-20. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by sharing the truth in love and growing together in following Him. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. We love Kailua and are committed to reaching out in grace and peace for the sake of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hawai'i Passion Play
Rehearsals begin March 2025 in Kailua.
We invite adults, teens, and children to audition or join the production team for “The Light,” a Christian movie coming Spring 2025! This performance of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ needs your talent—singers, actors, and crew members of all ages are welcome.
